Aqua Restaurant Celebrates 20 Years
Aqua, a popular restaurant known for unique libations and flavorful dishes of all sizes, including gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy-free options, is celebrating 20 years in business. Located in historic Beaufort, North Carolina, Aqua originated as a tapas restaurant in 2003 and has grown into a favorite spot for residents and visitors year-round.
Fresh,
local flavors take priority at Aqua, and diners will notice sun-ripened local
tomatoes, fresh-caught grouper, regional cheeses and additional seasonal extras
among the menu choices. Executive Chef John McGregor and Chef de Cuisine Hannah
Minter are creative with these regional finds and Aqua’s wine and martini list
is curated with the same focus on the unexpected.

Joey McClure, who also owns nearby Clawson’s 1905 Restaurant and Pub, says, “We
