Acu-Sound Bath is a combination of acupuncture needles gently inserted in the body as conduits for the healing sound current that the singing bowls make. A special demonstration will be held from 6 to 7: 30 p.m. at Bodhi Yoga, in Morehead City.

Dr. Julie Hutsell-Starling and Amy Smith weave together their healing magic in this session, first by guiding us into a deep state of relaxation with a guided meditation, then the acupuncture needles are inserted taking us even deeper into relaxation, and then the singing bowls work their

magic to bring resonance and harmony to our body. This combination creates a deeply healing and restorative space for one to relax, receive and heal. You will come away feeling relaxed, less stressed, less anxious, calm, peaceful, and even joyous and they might also notice in the days

afterward that they have a lot more energy than they’ve had in a while.
