Beyond the Pink

Kara Kenan, founder of Going Beyond the Pink and the Cancer Wellness Institute, has helped thousands of women and men with a history of breast cancer address their individual survivorship needs. With a master's degree from North Dakota State University where she taught for over a decade, a certification in Oncology Patient Navigation from George Washington University, she is Patient Advocate with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, is a member of the Cancer Policy & Advocacy Team with the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, and a Community Advocate with the American Cancer Society’s HSCB COP Breast Health Equity Team. She has been serving the cancer community for nine years.

SERVICES / OFFERING: Support services, patient navigation, care bags, wellness workshops, and financial assistance for out-of-pocket medical bills for breast cancer patients & survivors.

CONDITIONS TREATED: Breast cancer support services, not treatment.
