The Unity of Wilmington’s Youth Education Program has reopened and is available Sundays from 10:45 a.m. to noon offering two classrooms for children ages 6 months to 11 years old.

Children will spend the hour in a fun and caring environment with qualified teachers and other children. Depending on the weather, time is spent in the brand-new classrooms and/or on the playground. In addition, each Sunday, the youth are provided with arts and crafts, mindful stories, and a snack. Parents will receive information weekly on what their children are learning and ideas on how to talk with them about it. Emphasis is placed on how to be kind and loving to themselves and others. The school has two age groups: newborn to 5-year-olds and 6- to 11-year olds. Each group will have a lead teacher and often a teenaged helper.

Parents and family members can enjoy their time in the newly remodeled sanctuary, and celebrate with music, message and community opportunities every Sunday.
