Consider Reiki in a Wellness Plan

Reiki can calm and restore the spirit, often bringing healing to old, buried wounds and is approved by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine for pain relief. Reiki is a non-invasive therapy in which the practitioner explicitly works with a client’s biofield (interacting fields of energy and information that surround living systems) to stimulate healing
responses in patients.

A reiki session usually is between 60 and 90 minutes in length. During a typical session, the client is fully clothed while  comfortably reclined on a massage table. A reiki session can ease tension
and stress and may help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is most often
utilized for one’s own personal wellness.

Reported benefits of reiki include release and relaxation of tension; increases in awareness, clarity,
perception, boosts immune system; provides subtle mental relaxation; improves sense of well-being, vitality and focus; helps improve self-esteem; slows down the aging process; reduces the severity of addiction withdrawal symptoms; promotes inner peace and calm; relieves pain; provides relaxation treatment to those with PTSD among many more benefits.
